Middle West Review is seeking a book review editor to join its editorial team beginning in the summer of 2024. 

Responsibilities include: • Identifying new books on the Midwest from multiple disciplines published by scholarly and popular presses. • Assigning books to reviewers who have expertise in the subject matter. • Requesting review copies to be delivered directly to reviewers. • Editing completed reviews and review essays for content and to conform to the MWR style guide. • Managing book review files in Dropbox • Proofreading the full issue of Middle West Review before printing. • Additional copyediting or developmental editing of articles as needed.
